Sarah Brightman

Sarah Brightman (born 14 August 1960) is an English classical crossover soprano, actress, songwriter and dancer. She began her career as a member of the dance troupes Pan’s People and Hot Gossip and released several disco singles as a solo performer. In 1981, she made her musical theatre debut in Cats and met composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, whom she married. She went on to star in several Broadway musicals including The Phantom of the Opera, where she played the role of Christine Daaé.

Born October 22, 1982 , from an early age Cuenca Orleya showed a passion for music. She started out singing in a children’s choir. By the time she was 15 years old she had mastered the piano and spent the majority of her time composing music for her first performances.

When she returned from the Berkley College of Music, she decided to record her first demo which landed in the hands of the prestigious producer Seoan , who had just returned from a trip of more than two months in India and was looking for Western voices he could use to blend with some of the new sounds he had discovered.

Aminu has been working hard in the studio on his material in London and Dubai. Not only is Aminu a Great Performer. His influences include traditional African music, Hip Hop, R’n'B, Latin and Middle Eastern music.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Aminu spent most of his life as a student. He always had an interest in music & never opened up of or even reveal this Love to anyone but his close friends. However moving to the UK gave Aminu the chance to follow his dream and make it a reality. Aminu has worked with top producers in the business to complete his project and the material is unmistakable. He continues to gig up and down in different cities in to keep the buzz growing on the streets of England, Nigeria and Dubai.

Taio Cruz (pronounced Tie-oh Cruise) (born 23 April 1983) is a Brit ishAward winning and MOBO-nominated English singer-songwriter, occasional rapper, and music producer.

In 2008 he released his debut album Departure which he arranged and produced himself. In October 2009, he released his follow up album Rokstarr which includes his number one single “Break Your Heart”. In between the two albums and at present, Cruz has been working on productions and writing songs for Cheryl Cole, Brandy and the Sugababes.

Warren

Warren was born On May 6 , in Guyana and currently lives in France. He chose his stage name in honor of his godson, Warren, who was born the year of the release of his debut album.

Warren’s involvement with music began at a very young age. He was part of a liturgical choir and taught music theory and piano. He began his professional career when he was 14 years old specializing in Zouk, R ‘ n ‘ B , hip – hop and Compass .His music is a mix of these four styles. He released his first album, ” WARREN “, in 2000, produced by Ali Angel .

Slaï

Originally from Guadeloupe, zouk recording artist Slaï emerged in the late ’90s as one of the rising stars, soon becoming not only a much sought after performer, but a label owner and a successful producer as well.

Slaï spent his early years in the Parisian suburbs, returning to his native Guadeloupe for most of his adolescence.

After spending his youth in the Caribbean soaking up zouk and reggae music, Slaï returned to France. Taking up residence there in 1996, Slaï met and began collaborating with Guy Bordey, a fellow author and performer of West Indian music. Together the pair formed BS Productions, releasing their first disc, Fresh, in 1997.

Philip Monteiro

Philippe Bergeron Monteiro is often referred to as “the prince of the Cape Verdean music.” He was born in Dakar, although his parents are both originally from Cape Verde.  He is an artist of many talents, including songwriter, composer, arranger, filmmaker, pianist, accordionist, and of course singer. As a singer he has been described as having “a warm and sensual voice that is often associated with seduction.”

He does most of his work in his own studio located in the town center of Dakar. His eclecticism has allowed him to takes inspiration from many sources, from the coladeira to zouk to coladance, to funacola, He has also been known to infuse his music with some batuque, mandingo, mbalax, cap-zouk, funk, zouk-love and even the R&B.

Abege

The group Abege  is composed of two members, Bo’Bow and Nykow Ils both of whom were born in the ‘80s. The two are originally from Guadeloupe and Martinique and currently live in France.

Abégé started out recording pieces they had composed using a Playstation with recording capabilities. In June 2001, through a mutual friend, they managed to meet Kaysha and presented him with a compilation disk of their work with eight tracks on it. Kaysha was surprised by the talent of these two young men and shocked by the composition and style of their songs. As a  result, Kaysha decided to take them under his wing and over the next few years offered them a number of opportunities to hone their talent.

Anselmo Ralph

Angolan RnB singer-songwriter Anselmo Ralph was born in Luanda in 1981. He grew up and went to elementary and junior high school in Angola, then moved to New York to attend High School and College

After stints in a New York Latino Rock n Roll band, he started his solo projects and in January 2006 he released his popular album Histórias de Amor, followed by his second album which was a great success “As Ultimas Histórias de Amor”

He has recently released his 3rd album entitled “O Cupido”, which incredibly sold 21,600 copies upon its release. Most of his tracks are produced by, “Aires” aka “Aires no Beat,” one of Angola’s best producers

Natacha Atlas

Natacha Atlas, born 20 March 1964, is a Belgian singer known for her fusion of Arabic and Western electronic music, particularly hip-hop. She once termed her music “cha’abi moderne” (modern popular music). Her music has been influenced by many styles including Arabic, hip hop, drum ‘n’ bass and reggae.

Atlas was born to a father of Moroccan, Egyptian, and Palestinian ancestry who was born in Jerusalem and a British mother who had converted to Islam. Atlas grew up in Laken, a Moroccan suburb of Brussels, Belgium, After her parents separated, Atlas went to live in Northampton, England with her mother. Atlas learned several languages, including Arabic, French, English, and Spanish,and has used them all in the course of her career.
